Merry Christmas to meeee...

Every year no matter how broke I am I always manage to buy myself a few treats "from Santa."  Giving is great, and I love love love to get fun yet thoughtful things for my family and friends this time of year but I also love to think about myself too! :)

These Dolce Vita booties have been crossing my mind from time to time for several months now and when they went on sale I finally broke down and ordered them!  Blue suede is the new black...

Dolce Vita Wyatt Bootie
On sale for $64.90

Now, anyone who knows me knows there hasn't been a day in 5 years that my nails aren't painted.  They usually aren't your average sheers or nudes but rather some shade of blue, green, purple, orange or even black.  Nails can be a great accessory!  Sooooo, it should be no surprise that I'm extremely intrigued by these nail wraps at Nordstrom.   I've seen them before and never thought twice until I came across these fabulous prints!    At only $8 it is much cheaper than heading to the salon.

I think Giraffe or Python will be my new accessory!

I just love these handmade clutches!  I'm not one to own many purses (by many I mean more than 10) because I hate to have to continuously transfer all of my purse junk from one bag to another but I just loooooove these bags!  They are so fun and can easily add a pop of color to my uniform of jeans and a white tee.  They would also make a really great holiday gift bc it can be used for so many different things.

One thing I can't wait to wear this winter are my new bright tights!!!  I loooooove tights and have been rocking them since I so desperately tried to match my outfits to Cher from Clueless, and my sister.  Hooray for colored tights!!  Nothing fits my refusal to match in the winter better than these bright and fun tights from American Apparel.  I may have to grab a few more colors.  Check out WhoWhatWear HERE for tips on incorporating bright tights into your wardrobe!

Dark Teal

Lastly, this icy fabulous mini for New Years Eve!  I may even rock it with my new blue booties...it's only right! ;)

Time travel and Sunbathing...

Tahiti & Down Under-

So we are back in the good ol' US of A and still adjusting to the time change.  Pre-honeymoon I would fall asleep every night around 9pm and Brown would get so annoyed and now I can't seem to sleep before the wee hours of the morning and he is equally annoyed because I keep him up!  I can't seem to win, however the honeymoon was a WIN-WIN situation for both of us.

First week was spent in Moorea, an island off of Tahiti aka PARADISE!

We stayed in an overwater bungalow which meant we could hop on into the crystal clear lagoon to play and snorkel whenever we wanted!  I never wanted to leave but alas, we ran out of rum so it was time to head to Australia!

In Australia we spent some time in Adelaide wine tasting, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef in Hamilton Island then finished up with a few days in Sydney!  The highlight of Australia was DEFINITELY being able to play and feed the kangaroos, wallabies and koalas!

Wine tasting in Adelaide

My awesome find on Whitehaven

I figure if we can take care of a baby Koala for five minutes we are clearly ready to have kids, right?

Milling around Sydney!

Bondi beach was UNREAL!!

If you are looking for a honeymoon spot, I would HIGHLY recommend both MOOREA and AUSTRALIA!  If you have to narrow it down, Hamilton Island in Australia was a little slice of paradise!!!!!

So after several time zones, three different countries (we spent a few hours in New Zealand), multuple cities, beaches, rum drinks and tan lines, we are back in the states and ready for CHRISTMAS!!

Back to fashion, tv, music and all things superficial that I LOVE soon!

Honeymoonin'

The time has FINALLY arrived!  We hop on a plane in exactly 24 hours to begin our time traveling adventure around the globe!

First stop: TAHITI
Where we will live off of cheez-its and cocktails served in coconuts and I will have the islanders give me daily naked rubdowns...

Next it's off to the land down under: Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy
I can't wait to box some kangaroos, love on some drugged up Koala bears, take on my lifelong fear of sharks, look extremely tan on the whitest beach in the world and get drunk with Pa Vic down in Adelaide!

Get ready for loads of stories and pics to come!!

Xo!

All things leather please!

I'm not sure if my body is having some sort of leather deficiency and I'm trying to overcompensate but lately I'm in love with all things leather: pants, shorts, boots, jackets, dresses etc

Don't get me wrong, there is no shortage of leather or "leather" products in my closet but I can't seem to get enough. I find myself thinking of things to do just so I have excuses to purchase and wear some of them. Here are things I'm loving right now:

I love this Free People dress but  at around $400 alas it is out of my  about to leave for my honeymoon budget...

Rachel Bilson's amazing job of sporting leather shorts inspired me to snag a pair of the new J Brands below

Love these Current/Elliot leather skinnies, maybe it is my childhood Michael Jackson obsession coming back...but at almost $900 my "leatherettes" from last year and my coated J Brands will have to do the trick...

This Topshop leather and studded dress will be the next addition to my leather collection...then I will have to come up with something to do so I can wear it!

I hope I can tame this leather addiction soon because my pocket book can't handle much more...

Love and Supple Leather!
